Your sacrifice for our nation is not meaningless, it in fact makes us a stronger because it makes our hearts hurt to loose such exceptional young men in war. Wars which we have little understanding of their purpose or cause. I reflect each Memorial Day on the excellent young men I served with who lost their lives, and I traditionally pore a glass for them in their memory on this special day. It reminds me of the sacrifice of those who gave all for their beliefs in our great nation. May you have peace and love, not as the world gives but that peace to know that your son's loss was felt by a nation and our Lord.
