ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more" Mon, 28 May 2012 08:10:40 -0700 J.B. Gutierrez on August 25, 2011 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/pablo-manzano-jr/#c56895 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/pablo-manzano-jr/#c56895 Time and time again,we are never comforted by the actions or the tragedies of what happens to one mans life as it draws at it end. The memories of the profound life of Pablo Manzano Jr. are ones that will always be apart of my life as well as the others whom have moved away from the Imperial Valley. From his families ceremonial parties at the age of eight on Peco, to the lunches and endeavors with the cosmic mixes of Chettos and salsa, during our monumental times as scholars at South West High. I am never reminded about his death or how it played a role to his demise, I am reminded of his life as I had the honor of calling him friend. Thank you Pablo and the family of Manzano's for showing me who a gentleman ought to be. Staff Sergeant J.B. Gutierrez United States Marine Corps. Thu, 25 Aug 2011 06:47:05 -0700 L. In greeting us he always treated us with a warm smile and hug. He was friendly, social, smart and family oriented. We knew he would seek to do great things in life. He chose to serve and made the ultimate sacrifice. His loss made the sacrifices of the Iraq war so personal for all of us. Every time I hear the news of a soldier falling I can't help but think of him and his family. May you rest in eternal peace Pablo." He wasn't the type to lean towards violence or anger. He had sooooo many friends in his class and not an enemy in the world. I was devastated when I heard of his death because this loss could have been prevented. I remember sitting around with him after school and trying to get him concert tickets, his cool presentation about medieval medical practices and trying to keep him quiet in class. He'd always say, "But they're talking to me! I can't just ignore them!" I would tell him to try not to be so popular and he would laugh. I can't believe he's gone. I do not believe he committed suicide. I will always be haunted by the series of events I remember about that day and what I believed really happened. Wed, 21 Oct 2009 06:20:52 -0700
