I googled his name and found this news. I am so sorry to hear that Caesar passed away in Iraq. Hard for me to imagine as I can still picture him climbing the pole that lead up the wall on the lanai of Navy Hale Keiki School. He was one of my favorite--fun and inquisitive students. I absolutely loved teaching him. I have a son now who reminds me of Caesar--always interested in learning yet thinking differently than others--in a good way! I want you to know that I will always remember Caesar and am so sad to hear this news. I am thinking of you and your family. I was really looking forward to meeting him in person because of the funny stories I heard about him from the rest of the Vigs. I felt like he and I had a lot in common like our taste in music, playing guitar and just our general sense of playfullness and mischief! I know in my heart that he and I would have been instant friends if I had only met him sooner. I still harbor a sense of deep regret and loss because it was at his funeral that we finally met.
