He was a great soldier and a great man. Always eager to teach another soldier the smart way to do things. I miss him and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and the other soldiers we lost during that deployment R.I.P. Brother ....Rest In Peace. He was a great person and had a great sense of duty. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. My father, Ssgt. James D. Hopkins - USMC and several friends and family members are all "residents" of Riverside National. We will be adding another from our Law Enforcement Family with the addition of Riverside Police Officer Ryan Bonominio. I also have 2 "adopted" sons currently active Army. I visit often. Wade is laid to rest near my grandmother. Such a young man to have such a sense of duty and honor instilled by what must be truly remarkable parents. I can not imagine your pain from his loss. Each time I visit I also stop by to see Wade; clear his stone, leave flowers and etc. I stumbled across this web site and wanted to place a face and story in the "dash" to see who this incredible young man I have been visiting was and thought I would thank his parents for their sacrifice. I pray that you find comfort in knowing your son's and your family's sacrifice has not been in vain. May God Bless you and your family. Fri, 12 Nov 2010 02:17:32 -0800
