I trained with Castro in basic training and AIT down in Ft. Leonardwood. I was so sad when I first read about Castro. He was such a good guy and I remember running laps around our barricks with him in the evenings. he was so motivating and always happy. after graduation we never spoke again. my condolences to his family. I spoke to his mother on the phone one time. I would still like to make it out to his grave and pay my respects to such a brave soldier! Miss you Castro!!

Bro, so many memories of us. I honestly will never forget about you brother. Thank you again for serving our Country and I wish we still had you here with us. Thinking back on this day 8 years ago after we celebrated our 21rst birthday together I was getting ready to go back home.. You took me off roading in your truck on your training field and taught me how to shoot your gun.. We had a lot of fun in the deceiving sun. I miss you more than words can express. Everyday.
