It is in memory of Daniel S. Noble. I put it away for safekeeping. I got it out this morning to pray for Daniel and ask him to watch over my son who is entering the army. Selfish of me I know but I bet Daniel will do it. I thank him and his family for his service and their sacrifice. Still sad to know that a great man, one whom cared for many people lost his life...some days I think why him and others I think why Iraq, but then I take comfort in the fact that there were probably lives that he saved, loved ones that he returned and gave a second chance to. Miss you alot Daniel, just remember you owe me screen time with Transformers! Please take comfort in the promise of the resurrection (John 5 :28, 29)"...he will call all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."Daniel will live again on a new earth where there are no wars, sickness nor death. All this, Our heavenly fafher Jehovah God has promised.(Revelation 21:1-4,Psalms 46:9) What a wonderful time that will be! My son does not speak of service. He speaks of loyalty, friendship, and brotherhood. He named his first born son Thomas Daniel out of love and honor to his fallen friend. May he rest in peace. Because, every fond memory I have of you, was nothing less than happiness. You were always laughing, smiling, and funny. I miss you man everyday. Tue, 02 Apr 2013 01:11:21 -0700 Edgar A. Corral on October 17, 2012 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/daniel-s-noble/#c91447 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/daniel-s-noble/#c91447 I was lucky enough to have met Daniel. We were in the same USMC batallion back in 2007. We were both rookie HN's at the time, and we spent the same long training event out in the desert that same year. He was always making people laugh. He was so Courteous to everyone, and I really liked the guy. We actually ended up deploying to different units once we deployed to iraq, and the tragedy occurred when he was with his new unit. I still remember the ceremony we had for Daniel. It was a windy day in Rawah, Iraq that I will never forget. What a tragedy, i wish we still had Danie around to make us smile. He is greatly missed. I am proud to know that a hero like this young man came from my hometown. The world is a better place because of Daniel and men like him. We live day-to-day without having to think about their sacrifices; and that's exactly why they do what they do, so their fellow Americans can enjoy that type of freedom and peace of mind. It's sad that he had to go so early; but the impact Daniel and his comrades have made on this world will go on. I pray that this fact helps ease his family's pain, that they take pride in his courage, and know that one day they will celebrate together on the other side. Wed, 10 Dec 2008 01:31:56 -0800
