Nothing has changed. I've tried to keep good on my word about Michelle. Although she's an adult and can take care of herself, I try to stay in contact with her and do what I can. Unfortunately I can't say the same about your mom... even after 15 years I still can't really face her, it makes me so sad. I still send her flowers on your anniversary every year, I know that she'd probably rather see me. I really miss you man, I think about you every day. May 19th has become a very meaningful day in my brothers life and I'm sure you already know why. Anyway man I miss those body boarding sessions and all the trouble we got into. I named my son after you. I hope to catch you north of here one of these days, but until then I love you man Thu, 17 May 2018 06:41:21 -0700 Megan Thompson on July 11, 2017 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/jason-william-moore/#c191386 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/jason-william-moore/#c191386 I'm 17 now, I still love you and miss you Jason! Often, time does not erase the pain and void of lossing a loved one. However, there is a measure of hope that is provided in the Holy Bible. Jesus said, at John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...." This grand hope and promise, will soon take place here on a beautifully cleansed, peaceful, secure paradise earth, where wars will be no more. Ps 46:9. The loving god of the Bible, Jehovah, 'Will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more ,neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Can you imagine a time when the scars and horrors of war will be done away with? This will be a refreshing time for right hearted ones to welcome back their loved ones .We can be assured of this, because Jesus performed these miracles while on earth. May these scriptures be a source of encouragement for you all, and the future of your lost loved one. Four years ago, I received a bracelet with the name of Jason William Moore engraved upon it. Since then I feel that he has inspired me to take a special interest in helping those who have served and are serving to protect freedom in our world. I'm not sure if he was a musician but I have proudly worn his name and feel that he has spent many hours on stage with me, raising money for those who are in need. Today the name of Lance Cprl. Jason William Moore has been shared with many. We honor his memory and sacrifice. God Bless our Fallen Heros! And God Bless the family that has sacrificed so much for us! It is now officially 8 years since you left, and I miss you so much. I have cried all day. This 8th anniversary has by far been one of the harder ones. I wish I knew why but maybe it’s because your niece is older now and asks so many more specific questions or it’s because I have never forgotten or been able to heal. I actually never thought I would I guess I just thought it would get a little easier; not harder. I tell her so many stories about you and show her pictures. She always tells me she misses you and loves you. She also says “Its not fair I didn’t get to see Uncle Ja”. I tell her to look at your picture and never forget, and I tell her how great of an uncle you would be. She always says “I know mom” and gives me hugs. I love you so much Ja and I couldn’t miss you anymore. I wish it didn’t hurt so bad…….
