That's what I used to call Raymond during his freshmen yr of high school bball at Rancho Alamitos HS. I miss u scrub. I still remember the last time we talked. It was early in the summer before u shipped out. U talked about getting into coaching and giving back to your community. U would of made one hell of a coach! Please know that Raymond death is not in vain. For Jesus Christ too, died so that we can live under peaceful conditions. Thru his death, God has set up a Kingdom with Jesus as King, to bring an end to death, war and hatred. Also, thru this Kingdom, there is going to be a Resurrection of dead loved ones. What Love God Son showed. That with Men he might live. God's Truth he could give; Greatly he comforted mankind, To his Royal Commission he proved true and lovingly said: "I want to." Raymond said 'I want to," so did Jesus and they both did. Now is the time for Jesus to set in motion the process of cleaning up this earth, to welcome back Raymond. I hope that these few words has brought you some form of comfort and hope. May the God of Comfort, Comfort you at this time. He was a good kid, laid-back with a sense of humor, and an exceptional post player, too. He graduated and i went to work the corporate world, but would occasionally run into him at the park during pick-up games. It was always a pleasure. One summer I came back to western high to ref in a summer league game only to find out about ray's passing - my stomach turned. At the time I didn't even know he was in the army or why he had deciced such career path, but I know now. Ray was about something bigger than himself. He was a team player, but an even better teammate and friend.
