I was in the same unit as SGT Davis. We were in Iraq together when he was KIA. I wasn't with him during the attack, but the story of his bravery to stand and fight to protect everyone else in the Stryker is a selfless act. His friendship and bravery is still spoken amongst our friends whom served alongside with SGT Davis. Truly an honor to have been a friend and to have called him a brother. He will always be remembered in my house and his story of bravery will always be shared. #DEUCEFOUR #BCOBULLDOGS #PUNISHERS Tue, 24 Jun 2014 10:32:16 -0700 nc on April 26, 2014 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/anthony-j-davis-jr/#c151570 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/anthony-j-davis-jr/#c151570 My condolences to the Davis family. For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more" Wed, 11 Apr 2012 09:06:14 -0700 Laura Herzog on November 2, 2011 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/anthony-j-davis-jr/#c61731 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/anthony-j-davis-jr/#c61731 If you are family of Sgt. I just want to add that as long as I live, Anthony's life will be remembered and his presence felt. I think about him at the most unexpected times. I wish the best for his family and those closest to him. I thank him and those who served with him for their service and sacrifice. This I share from the bottom of my heart . I look at the photo and sadness befalls me because this young man is an example of the finest our community could develop. The parents as well as the alumni of Jordan have lost far more than any consanguineous group can imagine, in that Anthony represented the best of the best. Prayers are continually made to bless the family in that their sacrifice lingers longer that any others.
