Before the Sheehan's moved from Norwalk to Vacaville, Casey worked very hard to complete his Rank Of Eagle Scout. Casey was the type of young man that worked well in helping and training the younger Scouts, in working with them to achieve their Eagle Scout Rank. I was personally honored to be Casey's Master of Ceremonies for his Eagle Court of Honor. To us, Casey was always known to be Casey Jr., for our older son in Troop 549 was named Casey, too! Casey Sheehan will always be in our lives and especially in our hearts! He was a fairly quiet unassuming sort of kid. He was a definition of service. I live in NZ now and far away from the turmoil but I remember Casey and his memory lives on as a fine young American. No matter what you think about the war in Iraq you can still respect his sacrifice. God bless you and thank you Casey. You would be proud of your mother. She stood up and made others recognize the true sacrifices that families of war dead bear. Mon, 12 Oct 2009 11:00:59 -0700
