A band of brothers. To some of us every day is memorial day. I like to remember not how they died but instead how they lived. They were my son's, husbands and father's, they were my brother. They fought as warrior and were giants amongst us, if we were to go a single generation without men such as these we would be both doomed and damned. There spirit and the memory of sacrifice give us the strength needed to confirm our commitment to our task, to live our lives to the fullest and the best we can daily, to be the best person we can and honor there memory. I take some measure of consultation in my absolute belief that there spirit is with us, forever our guarding angles. I remember gray as a wise cracking fun guy to be around, good at his job, loyal to his brother, and a friend that I miss. He had the courage to join the Marines and fight for America. That is something not many people can do. I feel honored to call him a brother Marine. May our God provide you with many fond memories of Junior. He will always be remembered as an America hero. Thu, 31 Mar 2011 07:31:28 -0700
