I'm not sure if anyone ever reads these anymore but I'm creating a memorial day remembrance rock workshop and when looking for names to put on the rocks I was guided to this website and saw chris. I actually grew up with him. I was kind of an akward kid and he was a couple years older than me and whenever someone was mean or I felt disliked or alone, Chris was there. He was so kind and sweet and I'm so grateful to have had his friendship. I was saddened to hear of his passing in 2012, and as it turns out, my husband was friends with him all through high school. he was a great person and I will be honoring him this year. In Bible it gives a wonderful hope for the future at Re. 21:4 it says "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither mouring nor outcry nor pain be anymore". The former things have passed away. And at Psalms 46:9 it says "He will make wars cease to the extremity of the earth". That's what the future will be like through His son Jesus Chist. May peace and comfort be with you. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us. Losing a loved one is something we cannot get used to. The Bible, at John 5:28-29, gives us hope that one day we can see our dear loved one again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrendered his soul for many. John 15:13 says "No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends." I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.
