We spent a lot of good times together over the years in schools, in Iraq, in Afghanistan and working on our college. I still can't believe your are not here with us. You will not be forgotten. Enjoy your peace brother! I should have been able to know you as you got older and seen pics of you and your family on facebook but God keeps the good ones close and so you made the ultimate sacrifice and you are one of the few that earned the title "Hero", and I think about you when I am thanked for my service. I will see you in my time but until then I will carry your memory my brother. I am soulfully sorry to your family. May God be with you all. You were a great role model for us all who entered service in the family. I joined the service in 04 because I heard all the great things you were doing as an infantry man, ranger, and special forces. I have never looked back one bit for the things I did while I was in; but it hurts so much to know that one of our own has passed on into the hands of God. Everytime I think of your brother Rene or Michael I think of you, and how much we all miss you because you were one of our own. I remember when I went to visit your dad all he could talk about was when you were a baby and as much I wanted to break down and cry because it was so emotional, I didnt. I wanted to show my respect and really listen to what he was going through. I will pay my respects to you Sfc Nunez as much as possible; for you have completed your time on earth and now God needs you. From all of us in the Munoz family, thank you for everything, and just know, no one can ever compare to what you have done for us, for country, and for your own pride and joys.
