He served with him. I know he thinks about him often and feels your lose. I'm sure he was a great man, I'm really sorry I did not get to meet him. Hope you family and friends are all doing well today and in the future. I wear a bracelet my son gave me with his name on it and I think of him often along with our other soldiers that we have lost. My god be with us all who care and love our soldiers. The name that when he heard it, meant that someone that was speaking to him was someone that was close, someone that knew him well. And most importantly, someone that loved him. This is the first time I've seen this web page. Feeling deeply the losses that this page signifies, I was already in tears. And then stopping to read each message written to honor the memory of James, I was transported and made a member of a family, and community that loved, valued and appreciated this young man. I could visualize him at family gatherings, at work, kicking it with his friends, and focused and on task in the service with his military brothers. I am so sorry for all of your loss. I am so sorry for all of our loss. Let us turn these messages, and the images and memories they spark of this fine young man's Life, into inspiration to live our own lives borrowing some of those best qualities of James, which will make him be so missed. Bless you all. Bless us all. Thu, 15 Oct 2009 01:43:24 -0700 MSG (Ret) R. D. This young man done so much more with his life than most, can ever imagine. James wasn't "floating," as one writer states. James was defending you and I . James is a real, American HERO. God bless James and his wonderful family. Sun, 11 Oct 2009 11:17:18 -0700
