Irwin prior to him PCS'ing to Ft. Drum. I was a squad leader in his platoon and he was one hell of a soldier. Some pretty funny memories of him and he truly embodied the spirit of a GRUNT. He was loved dearly by his buddies and had a lot of heart. To those people using this as a platform to promote your religion's Web page, shame on you. R.I.P. Sanchez, 'till Valhalla... I didn't know you personally, but all service members are family. You volunteered to do a job that most would not. You did not die in vein, for a worthless cause, or for anything less than nobility. Godspeed, you will be loved and remembered as nothing less than a hero. My condolences to your friends and family. This isn't the time for that. I am deeply saddened by this loss and my most sincere condolences go out to Javier's family. You have my deepest sympathy. Did you know there is going to come a time when Almighty God Jehovah, will put a stop to wars. In (Psalms 46:9) "He is going to make all wars to cease to the extremity parts of the earth." That will truly be a wonderful blessing. We weren't put here to die. Jehovah God put us here to live forever. So, just think you'll have a chance to see your dead loved one again. Jehovah God said through Jesus Christ in (John 28,29) "that all in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Those are some wonderful blessings. If you would like to know more about this.
