We grew up together as he lived down the street from me and would do everything together basically everyday, from riding Jim's quad all over the trails to paintballin', we did it all and I miss him a great deal. Josh was a great friend of mine, and he was loved by all who knew him. My deepest condolences go to Jim and Barbara, and his brothers Donovon and Cooper. I have been reading about you for two days now. I wanted to know the person I was honoring and who gave his life so that I could maintain my freedom. You were such a handsome young man with a bright future ahead of you. That was taken away from you and you didn't even hestitate to do your job, protecting America, knowing your life could be taken. I am proud to be honoring you today and everyday and will not forget what you have done and given for me and my America. RIP Joshua, God has taken you home and made you part of the most elite team, that of angels. I thank you. Mon, 29 Nov 2010 04:46:49 -0800 LAPD Partner and friend on November 17, 2010 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/joshua-j-cullins/#c41459 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/joshua-j-cullins/#c41459 I had the privilege of being Josh's first LAPD Field Training Officer when he got out of the academy. He immediately stood out to me as being squared away, always respectful, and eager to learn. He was a go getter, and etremely motivated. During my time partnered up with him he became my friend, as he was to many in his new LAPD family. As a former Marine myself, partner, and friend of Josh's, i can honestly say the world was a better place with him around. See ya in heaven brother, hopefully ill have the privilege of you being the one training me up there on how to get around when my time comes.
