I'm sure he was a fine young man. You will have a chance to see him again. The Bible gives us a hope for the future. At (Revelation 21:4) it says: "he (Jehovah God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more." That's a promise from Almighty God Jehovah. To the friends and family of Joshua I would like give my deepest condolences. I would like to share a comforting hope found in the bible at Revelations 21:4 it reads. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former thing have passed away. Jehovah God intended for humans to live in perfect conditions not death and suffering I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort Thu, 14 Mar 2013 12:46:07 -0700 Robert Henderson on September 26, 2012 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/joshua-r-ashley/#c88380 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/joshua-r-ashley/#c88380 My deepest sympathy to the family of Joshua. When some one we loved die, we mourn. And we may ask: ' What has happened to them? Are they suffering? Will we ever see them again? The world's religions offer differing answers to these questions. What happens at death is no mystery to our God(Jehovah) the creator of all things. In his word the Holy Bible he tells us at Ecclesiastes 9:5,6,10- "As for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." When a person dies he ceases to exist. Death is the opposite of life. The Bible teaches that many millions of people who are dead in the grave will return to life on earth- read Luke 23:43; Acts 24:15. It was God's original purpose for man to live forever on earth(Genesis 1;26 -31) . In the future by means of a resurrection(John 5:28, 29) all those in in the grave that come back and exercise faith in Jesus by obeying him will see the promises at [ Revelation 20:11-13; Psalms 37: 29. God made hope for the dead possible by sending his Son(Jesus) to die for us[John 3:16]. So, when the dead return to life, whom do you especially want to see? My sister married his Uncle Todd. He is a hero in each and everyone of our eyes. It is horrible that he was taken at such a young age, But he was fallen doing what he loved to do.
