Because of your Sacrifice, Many things have changed in Downey. The Memorial Wall was finally built next to City Hall; And, each year, the Flag that was folded in your Honor that was ultimately given to the Mayor as a gift from Trisha, is displayed next to your Name tags. We love your Mother, Crystal. From day one, She knew God needed you and took you back home at such a young age. Keep looking over her. She's a Beautiful lady who loves you very much. Not a Day goes by that I don't think of our Fallen Heroes without feeling a sense of debt. Thank you for all you have done. God be with you and your family always.

Well yep it's me your old mother I lol when I think of That "Old mother" you always keep telling me "Man Mom your old look at all the gray hair you have" And I would say to you "no honey that's not gray It's all highlight's and they were all from you"well I'm sorry I'm still crying a lot and I know how much you hated me to cry. All I know is in the last 6 years I lost you and then two years later I lost my Mom and then Sassy and Kitty my cats of 15 years And then my me and Carl after 15 years living together it was over. It just seem to hit one wall after the other.well I have bug you enought tonight I will see you soon! :)

Hey sunshine its been 5 years now and it still feels like yesterday we were in boot camp then hawaii and finally on out first deployment. I miss you more and more everyday bud and I try to keep in touch with your mom as often as I can. Im trying to live my life in the way I think you would approve of. Im having a kid in september crazy I know!!! I wish you were able to meet her but if you can just continue watching over me and keep a close eye on my baby girl when shes born I would greatly appreciate it. I love you brother and ill see you again so keep a spot open for me.

Josh As we approach this memorial, I feel a debt of gratitude towards you. Because of extraordinary individuals like yourself, myself along with millions of other Americans get to enjoy the daily freedoms that have been payed forward by those who have given there lives, so that many who can't or wont do not have to. "Sir I want to be a Marine" will for ever be embedded in my mind as those were your first words, when you walked into my office the first time.
