Kyle's name is permanently etched in stone, brass and granite all over Fort Bragg and the Special Forces Museum in Fayetteville, NC. I cannot say enough about the wonderful, caring and dedicated men I met from my nephew Kyle's unit. They loved him as much as we did. We got to see where he worked and prepared for his service in Afghanistan. We met their families and our family is now larger since we have now adopted everyone of these wonderful people. We also got to meet the Holbrook family who's son Jason was killed with Kyle on that horrible day. They too are now a part of our family. As awful as losing Kyle is, it is very apparent that he is loved and missed by so many people. Let us not forget that this war is not over and the mission must go on to completion. God Bless everyone who has someone in the military and pray that an end will come soon to this war. I know he is continues to be deeply missed by his family and friends. As we spend time with our families and friends, enjoying the traditional Memorial Day BBQ's, may we all remember those who lost their lives at war, and those who are still fighting for our freedom. "All gave some, some gave all." God bless each one of you. He was an exceptional person, physically large and intimidating, yet even tempered and full of good humour. I will always remember the time he and my roomate became engaged in a prank war. He came over to my apartment, and removed all of my roomate's (Adam Helm) possesions, leaving his room completely bare. Kyle had such a memorable sense of humour. He is truly missed. They forget the heroes that die for them and the ones who continue to fight. I would like to thank all the military men and women who serve our great nation. I also want to thank their families who also bear a huge sacrifice. I miss my husband everyday and wish I could hold him again in my arms. I love you Kyle and I will never forget what you did for me and for our country! With the Holidays fast approaching the pain I know will deepen even more for his Wife,Parents,Aunts and Uncles and his Cousins and the many friends he left behind. There is not a day that goes by that he is not thought of and remembered as a hero. May god watch over all the Men & Women who are fighting the fight. To the other families out there who have lost there loved one, may you find some peace during this holiday season and happiness with your memories to get you through. There will come a time when Almighty God Jehovah will make all wars to cease. He made that promise at Psalms 46:9. And at Revelations 21:4 He promised death will be no more. What a wonderful hope! May the Grand Creator of all things, Jehovah God be with you.
