She is smiling down from heaven. As memorial day approaches your one of the first to come to mind. Your contagious smile and always positive approach at life are one of the many things often missed. I feel I only knew you for a short time but you left a permanent impression. I remember the day when tragedy struck like it was yesterday. I know you are up there traveling the depths of heaven as you often dreamed of doing during your time on earth. RIP to one of the best sisters in arms a former soldier could ask for. It's been years, yet it still feels like yesterday, when I last saw you or talked on the phone with you. But the funny thing is...I can still remember the way your voice sounds, or at least the way you would say my name, when I would say something out of sync, or when I was about to do something dumb. Haha! Always know you are gone, but not forgotten my friend. May you be resting well and staying out of trouble Marisol. Wed, 30 Mar 2016 12:40:59 -0700 Sumerinder S. Every time I walk past Your photo I touch it... I may have never known You or Your Family, but it doesn't matter. You lived in The town I grew up in. You were and are one of us. God touched Your face and now holds You in His glory. Peace to You, Your Family and all of Your Friends. What fortune they had in knowing You. The world is a safer place because of You. We truly miss and love you. I miss your contagious smile and insane giggles. I miss my little-big sister, baby girl I would always carry you in my heart. Your legacy will go on, especially with little Marisol and your comrade's little daughter who was named after you too. They would know your story and why their names are special. Yes, the war might be over but for some of us it would still be a challenge to overcome. All the people affect by the war would always carry that pain.
