It was a really cold morning and the news was much colder. I'll never forget him, he was a funny guy and we had tons of laughs during out deployment. RIP Nick and Drew Thu, 30 Nov 2017 08:06:18 -0800 Anthone Reinke on May 21, 2015 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/nicholas-d-eischen/#c180375 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/nicholas-d-eischen/#c180375 Nick and I went to Buchanan High School together and we were also close friends. There was four of us ( mark, nick, Robert and myself) that hung out together on the daily. Nick had a pure heart. He always made the best out of situations and pointed out the positive. When the group started to get a Lil wild nick would always find a way to reel us in. I'm sure he shared those same genuine qualities in his post high school adventures. There are so many memories. Happy and sad. From the time mark passed away and nicks letter was read because he was unable to make it due to his service to our country to the four of us sitting in my living room trying to pick out names for my ,now, 14 year old son, Christian. God took one of the good ones when he took Nick. Love you, miss you, and look forward to seeing you and Mark one day my brother. For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more" Sat, 31 Mar 2012 10:49:17 -0700 Kevin Gregory on December 31, 2010 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/nicholas-d-eischen/#c43701 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/nicholas-d-eischen/#c43701 I don't know this soldiers as I'm just visiting the website. Less than four months after burying his brother and being discharged from the Army, Clovis Police responded to a 911 call for an "attempted suicide" and an ambulance took Drew "Joey" Eischen to Community Regional Medical Center where he died less than two hours later. Don't forget those that have not survived their homecoming. Mon, 07 Jul 2008 06:12:12 -0700
