It's almost 5 yrs since the Chaplain and I came to your door with news of Raymond. Even now, after all this time, I hurt because for me, it is like it was yesterday. I want you to know that Raymond lives with me and will do so for all my days. I want you to know he is never forgotten, nor his sacrafice for a greater good. I pray that God has continued to bless you and your family and I look forward to one day shaking Raymond's hand and thanking him for the Soldier he is. Please be safe and always know that You, Raymond, his little Sister, and Family are loved and thought of, forever. Your mother Angelina was so blessed to have you. You were an amazing person, student, athlete and son. There is no such thing as "Happy" Memorial Day. For those who had family and friends killed while serving our country know that Memorial Day is a day of sadness. We will always remember your smile. We will cherish your photos and belongings. We shall see you someday. Love. Death is not natural for humans, and that is why it is so painful. Our heavenly father Jehovah God created us to live forever. Please take comfort in the promise he made of the resurrection (John 5:28, 29)Ray is asleep now, but will be resurrected to a new earth filled with peace. Jehovah, also promised all wars will cease to tbe exremity of them earth(Psalms 46:9)What a wonderful time that will be! Life is hard. We all have problems. It's very hard fighting and you don't know what it's all about. Jehovah God will put an end to it soon. For he tells us at (Psalms 46:9) that "He will make all wars to cease to the extremity of the earth." And at (John 5: 28,29) "He says all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." That's a wonderful hope for the future. If you would like to know more about what Jehovah God and Jesus Christ will do for us. Go to JW.ORG. May you have please and comfort. Wed, 05 Jun 2013 04:05:19 -0700
