I was part of the team that responded to the incident, and the medic that found and declared his passing. I felt like i got to know him pretty well the few hours we spent together, so i have great sympathy for those who truly knew him well... He will be forever missed and never forgotten... Not the biggest, not the meanest but exceptionally memorable. I miss his kind attitude and spiteful wit. Hizon, you're missed and your sacrifice isn't forgotten. Life, like a mist, appears for just a day, Then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away, Replaced with tears and sorrow. If a man should die, can he live again? Hear the promise God has made: (Chorus) 2. Friends of our God, though they may pass away, Will never be forsaken. All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay, From death he will awaken. Then we’ll come to see all that life can be: Paradise eternally. (CHORUS) He will call; The dead will answer. They shall live at his command. For he will have a longing For the work of his own hand. So have faith, and do not wonder, For our God can make us stand. And we shall live forever, As the work of his own hand. ( John 6:40; 11:11, 43; Jas. 4:14.) Hizon: I am so sorry for the loss of your dear family member. When we see death, especially prematurely, it causes us to cherish life that much more. I find comfort in the Bible's promise of a future resurrection (John 5: 28). Rudolph will live again, but he will see a paradise earth. I hope you find solace in this promise as I do. I almost cried, but I knew deep down that I had to get the mission done then I could remember the times that we had. I went through Infantry School with Hizon and even though the times got rough, he still hung in there the entire way. I'm proud to have served with him and He will be forever remembered in my heart. I will miss you Brother. Infantry Leads The Way! And to his family, I am so very sorry for your loss, I wish I was there with him.
