Jacobs on August 1, 2012 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/sean-r-jacobs/#c82148 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/sean-r-jacobs/#c82148 My nephew Sean was tragically killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan. A recent West Point graduate, Sean was a bright young man with a great future. He was the only child of my brother Bob and his wife Jackie. They have lost a wonderful son. We are all deeply saddened and will miss him dearly. The Bible teaches God foretells a time when he will establish peace earth wide. Under his Kingdom, a heavenly government, people will not "learn war anymore." Instead, they will "beat their swords into plowshares." (Isaiah 2:4)God will bring an end to all injustice and suffering. The Bible promises: "[God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things [including today's injustices and suffering] have passed away." Revelation 21:3,4. If you would like to know more about this, speak with one of Jehovah's Witnesses when they are in your neighborhood. They would be happy to talk with you. Tue, 31 Jul 2012 10:29:24 -0700
