He was a warm hearted person who always greeted you with a smile. I went to basic training with him, also deployed together to OIFV. You are not forgotten, love and miss you. Always ready with a smile and a kind word-willing to stop and talk to anyone about how they were doing. We served in the same Battalion in Schofield Barracks, HI and deployed together to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. It was a real blow to learn of his death. He will be sorely missed by one and all. Death is not easy to except. According to the Bible in Psalms 46:9 it says: "He will cause all wars to cease to the extremity of the earth." And Revelation 21:4 says: "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I know you will agree that these scriptures gives us a wonderful hope for the future. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and we are all over, so when one of us knock on you door, please feel free to ask any questions you may have and we will be happy to answere your questions from the Bible. May peace and comfort be with you. Thu, 04 Aug 2011 04:56:31 -0700
