Bill Leyden was host of a variety of network television shows, including NBC's "You're Putting Me On," "Let's Face It," "Call My Bluff" and "Your First Impression."
A native of Chicago, where he worked as an NBC page while getting a degree in archeology from DePaul University, Leyden began his broadcast career as a radio announcer in Cleveland.
He continued his career as a disc jockey at radio stations in Los Angeles, and eventually moved up to television broadcast. His honors include a distinguished achievement award by TV Radio Life Magazine and an Emmy nomination in 1954 as the outstanding new male personality.
