Earl Lestz is the former president of Paramount Pictures Studio Group. Lestz took charge of the group's operations in 1985, reporting directly to then-Paramount Chairman Frank Mancuso.
In the position, Lestz oversaw operations, real estate planning and development, stage rental, merchandising and licensing and back-lot departments for the Los Angeles-based studio. He went on to hold the position for two decades.
Before joining Paramount he was an executive at Federated Department Stores, serving as senior vice president-operations for the Bullock's chain.
He also served as chairman of the board of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, succeeding Stanley Spero, vice president of Golden West Broadcasters.
As a chamber member, Lestz served on the selection committee that decided new inductions to the Walk of Fame.
