Onslow Stevens, an actor, made his stage debut in 1928 at the Pasadena Playhouse and appeared in his first motion picture, Universal's "Radio Patrol," in 1932.
He was best known for his character roles — often as the "heavy" — although he frequently had leading roles in his early career. One of his early movie roles was that of Marion Davies' leading man in "Peg O' My Heart."
