Raymond Knight was a writer, producer, and director of radio and television shows.
During the 25 years he had spent in the industry, Knight had created some 100 radio and TV shows.
At the time of his death, Knight was chief writer for the "Bob and Ray" programs on the NBC radio and TV networks.
Knight also had written several Broadway comedies and musicals, including "At Home Abroad," "Mr. Smith" and "See America First."
Knight died on his 54th birthday in New York City. His widow, Lee, married Bob Elliot of the "Bob and Ray" show.
