Wilke died Oct. 10, in Doha, Qatar. The 19-year Army veteran, who worked as an air weapons system technician, planned to retire from the Army next summer after 20 years and get a civilian job. "We were going to have a more normal life. Have more time with each other," Monia Wilke said. "I thought we were going to grow old together. Now, I don't know what I'm going to do."
