Smith was a solid scoring option off the bench during the early to mid-1990s, averaging 15 minutes and nearly six points a game during his five seasons with the Lakers.
Smith’s best season was 1993-94 when he averaged 8.8 points a game.
Unfortunately, he did it for one of the worst Lakers teams ever, one that went 33-49 and became the first Lakers team in 17 years not to make the playoffs.
